Looking for a computer logging program? We are working with the programmers below to support the NY QSO Party.
New York QSO Party Recommended Logging Software
Below you will find a list of contest logging applications that have been used for the NYQP and generate the appropriate Cabrillo logs for submission. It is recommended that you update your software prior to any event to ensure that the software is scoring based on the most current rules and requirements of that contest. There have been updates to the current Cabrillo file requirements for the NYQP so you should update before the start of the event this year.
N1MM users should note that a new NYQP template will be released this week to accomidate changes to opperating classes and the Cabrillo file format required for your log submission.
When using a new software package or if new to computer logging, take some time before the contest to become familiar with it's operation. Avoid frustration and lost QSO's!

Setting up N1MM for NYQP - Ken Boasi, N2ZN has prepared a very nice step by step tutorial for setting up N1MM for use in this years New York State QSO Party. Steps in this tutorial would also apply for other state qso parties with variations.
For those who paper log, here are a few useful links to put your log into the proper Cabrillo format as required by the NYQP rules. Either link may be used to generate a Cabrillo log file for submission to our logging committee.
- New York QSO Party Cabrillo Form - Test Mode - This form is now active if you want to convert a paper log to Cabrillo format.
We appreciate the authors committing their time to include the NYQP. They do a great service for the entire Amateur community.
We would also like to thank Igor, UU0JC for his work integrating the New York QSO Party into his fine application "Contest LogChecker". 2011 was the first year that we used a log checking application in hopes of speeding up the checking process.
