To: logs@nyqp.org
Subject: [Your Call]
Attachment: [Your Call].LOG
PLEASE NOTE:
Due to variations in Cabrillo formats from different contest logging software programs, it would help our logging team identify your class if you append "Rookie", "Rover" or “Youth” to the end of your subject line when emailing your logs.
- For Rookie Class entry - Subject: [Your Call] Rookie (example: W2RDX Rookie)
- For Rover Class entry - Subject: [Your Call] Rover (example: W2RDX Rover)
- For Youth Class entry - Subject: [Your Call] Youth [Youth Class]
- (example: W2RDX Youth under 12) or...
- (example: W2RDX Youth 13-17)
It is very important that the callsign you used in the contest (the one in your log) appears in the subject line of the e-mail. If this information is not there, your log will be rejected by the robot.
All logs must be received within 14 days of the end of the NY QSO Party.
For those who paper log, here are a few useful links to put your log into the proper Cabrillo format as required by the NYQP rules. Either link may be used to generate a Cabrillo log file for submission to our logging committee.
- 3830 Web Form - For paper loggers needing a Cabrillo. This web form will become active and on-line the week of the NYQP.
- New York QSO Party Cabrillo Form - Test Mode - This form is always active if you want to test converting a paper log to Cabrillo format.
- Certificates will be presented to top scorers in each category from each New York County, State, Canadian Province and DXCC country.
- Special awards may be awarded at the discretion of the NY QSO Party Committee.
- Plaques will be awarded in various categories. See the current list of available plaques and sponsors on the NYQP web page.
Without the efforts of these dedicated Amateurs, the NY QSO Party would not be possible. Our thanks go to:
